This morning I steped by a bookstore. I picked up Lenswork and started leafing through the pages (starting at the end of the magazine). And almost immediately was captured by the photographs. The photographs were about animals in Africa. But it were not simple wildlife pictures, no. They are portraits that capture the spirit and emotions. I should mention that the photographs are white and black, which even stronger pull you in. Are you intrigued, want to see those photographs? While wandering through forum topics I've found a couple of articles that tell about how to Calibrate Adobe Camera Raw 3.x. The other article (Out of Gamut: Calibrating Camera Raw in Photoshop CS) is what the first one was based on.

If you need to calculate DOF, Parallax or Field of View for your photography needs, you may consider the page "Photography Calculators". Unfortunatelly it hard to take it with you in the field, when you need it most.

Another interesting topic of discussion - importance of precise focusing. The article called "The Flawed State of Photography as Art and Documentation" talks about how even a slight shift of focus can change the expression of the person (subject of the photograph) and how hard is it to achieve.
